Arrest Warrant Issued for Trailer Theft Suspect

Jeremy Gilstrap

An arrest warrant has been issued for Jeremy Gilstrap for three charges of knowingly concealing stolen property.

In an investigation by the Sequoyah County Sheriff's Department involving several stolen trailers Gilstrap was identified as a suspect. The Sheriff's Dept. has already identified and recovered four stolen trailers and three of them have been returned to their owners.

Anyone with information about Gilstrap's whereabouts are urged to contact the sheriff's office at 918-775-1213. Gilstrap is from the Muldrow area but could possibly be in Oklahoma City at this time.

Investigators believe that Gilstrap could possibly have sold additional stolen trailers or other items without the purchaser knowing that the items were stolen. They are asking that anyone who has had any business dealings with Gilstrap during the past year to please contact the Sequoyah County Sheriff's Office Investigator BR Rutherford or Investigator Christian Goode at the above number.

Anyone who has had a trailer stolen who has not reported it is also asked to contact their local police or sheriff's dept.

A spokesperson for the sheriff's dept. stated that there could possibly be additional charges to follow.
