The Catholic Charities Helping Center in Sallisaw is having a blanket, heater and winter coat drive as winter waits in December to make its appearance.
The drive will run from now until Jan. 31.
“Many Catholic Charities clients are asking for these items now and we need your help!” said MaryLynn Lufkin, Helping Center director. “Please consider donating to this very important drive!”
Donations to the Helping Center, at 409 N. Adams St., Sallisaw, may be made between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Just come around to the back door and knock.
“May God Bless you for your generosity in helping our less fortunate neighbors keep warm this winter,” Lufkin said.
