Sallisaw’s Christmas Lighting will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 16 on the lawn at Stanley Tubbs Memorial Library in downtown Sallisaw.
Christmas music will fill the air courtesy of the Sallisaw Middle School Choir and The Mix 105.1. Santa Clause will also be at the holiday lighting ceremony. Santa will visit with youngsters in the library gazebo.
Chamber officials said, “We invite kids of all ages to come join us at 6 p.m. as we light up the town with Christmas cheer! As soon as the lights go on, Santa will arrive on a fire truck to pay a visit to the kids and hear their Christmas gift wishes.”
