Muldrow Teacher Resigns After Suspension

A Muldrow High School teacher resigned Wednesday after an allegation she had an inappropriate actions with a student.

School Superintendent Ron Flanagan is not allowed to reveal the name of the teacher. He said school police officers began the investigation into the allegation on Tuesday and the teacher was suspended with pay. The school officers believe the alleged inappropriate action could be criminal, Flanagan said. If criminal behavior is uncovered, the investigation will be turned over to the Muldrow police or Sequoyah County Sheriff’s Office.

The teacher had been with the school for two years and had no reprimands in her personnel file, it was reported.
