Gore officials have proclaimed October as Domestic Abuse Awareness Month, and signed the proclamation Wednesday. At the signing are, from the left, Bob Warren, vice mayor; Billy Mack White, chief of police; Brandi Timmerman, Cherokee Nation Indian Child Welfare; Ryan Callison, mayor; Ann Rummerfield, trustee; Don Carter, trustee; and Horace Lindley, town administrator.
The Town of Gore joined the City of Sallisaw and Sequoyah County in making the proclamation.
