Benjamin Floyd Chambers was reportedly swimming near Carters Landing in approximately 20 feet of water when he went under and did not resurface.
The Keys Fire Department and Cherokee Nation EMS responded to the scene and the body was recovered by Cookson Fire Department divers.
Chambers smelled of alcohol and was not wearing a life jacket according to the OHP report.
