The Sallisaw Municipal Landfill will be closed Saturday to allow Kansas City Southern (KCS) Railroad to work on the railroad crossing on the road to the landfill.
KCS has been working on railroad crossings throughout the city.
The landfill will reopen for normal hours on Monday.
