Sallisaw’s new tag agent, Tracy Baker, reopened the Sallisaw Tag Agency on Monday. She is assisted by Kylie Grinstead, left, and Mirna Duke, right.
The agency is located in its previous location at Suite 3, 2329 E. Cherokee, and has the same phone number at 918-775-4497. The email address is salliawtag@diamondnet.us.
Baker said the office has been refurbished and redecorated, and includes an Oklahoma wall plaque made by her husband, Randall “Rat” Baker, who also made frames for all the government information the tag agent must post.
Baker said she will be at the agency this week, then will return to her long-time career as assistant principal at Sallisaw Middle School.
She added, “I will be retiring at the end of this school year and will be at the agency more often.”
