A cleanup at the site of the old Sallisaw High School will be held from 9 a.m. till noon Saturday.
Members of the Old Sallisaw High School Alumni Association said everyone is welcome, and no building skills are required. The cleanup includes going through the bricks that remain for salvage, removing rocks so that mowing may take place, and repairing the sidewalk.
The association has also changed meeting days and places. Members will now meet at 6 p.m. Thursdays at Stanley Tubbs Memorial Library in Sallisaw.
