A Sallisaw man is listed in critical condition following a one-vehicle crash at 12:18 p.m. Thursday on County Road E 4580, just south of U.S. Highway 64. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) reported Charles Brooks, 88, was driving a 2001 Cadillac south on the county road when the car left the road to the right, traveled 100 feet and struck a tree. Brooks was taken by Lifeflight to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa and admitted in critical condition with head, internal and leg injuries.
