Sequoyah County Sheriff Ron Lockhart has just released the names of those involved in the fatal shooting that occurred Monday evening. The 70 year old man who was shot and killed has been identified as Robert Just. His son, Steven Just, is the suspect in the shooting.
Steven Just is currently being held in the Sequoyah County Detention Center on unrelated charges. Sheriff Lockhart stated that he anticipates filing a charge of murder in the first degree some time this morning.
The Sheriff's Dept was called to the scene of the shooting, near Muldrow, Monday evening at approximately 5:51 p.m. Upon arriving they found 70 year old Robert Just with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper torso. His son, Steven Just, 40, was taken into custody and transported to the Sequoyah County Detention Center.
