Arkansas Man Accused of Striking Teen

A bench warrant was issued Tuesday for an Arkansas man, accused of striking a 14-year-old boy in Dora. According to the investigator's report, Harry McMahan, 41, of Sherwood, Ark., on July 6 was at a dirt track on Highway 64D, near Dora, where the 14-year-old boy was racing. The boy wrecked, and witnesses said McMahan walked onto the track and punched the boy in the face. The boy said the man then said, "That's what you get..." The boy said he got up and finished the race. When his mother found out, she called the police, but the suspect left the track before they arrived. The officer reported the boy had marks on his face, which appeared to be swollen. The mother said the incident was recorded by a video camera. A $5,000 bond was set on McMahan in Sequoyah County.
