Attempted Kidnapper Arrested in Muldrow

Matthew Ryan Cruise, 23, of Muldrow was arrested on Friday, May 16, for the attempted kidnapping of two 14 year old girls on Saturday, May 4th.  Cruise was arrested in the parking lot of the Quickway Store in Muldrow.

On Saturday, May 4th, two teenage girls were approached by a white male near the Muldrow Park. Another male pulled up in a  truck. One of the men grabbed one of the girls by the arm but the girl managed to pull away and run to safety. 

Authorities released a photo of the truck which we showed you in our original report. Authorities were able to locate Cruise due to the truck photo. Cruise was arrested and taken to the Sequoyah County Jail. For more stories visit our website at kxmx.com
